Frankincense

Frankincense is as old as time and has been used for thousands of years to assist with lung and gastric issues.

The resin and oil both contain antiviral and anti inflammatory properties.

With the spread and threat of COVID-19 it might be a good idea to have both forms at home.

Make frankincense water to consume daily-

5 pieces of resin in half a litre of hot water.

Leave to cool and consume 20mls.

Can be added to smoothies and juices.

I also add to my kombucha’s second fermentation.

Use as a mouthwash with sodium bicarbonate and a drop or two of peppermint oil and lemon oil.

Use the resin (on a charcoal disc)for burning at home to help clean the atmosphere.

Use the oil to massage chest and upper back. 2 drops in s teaspoon carrier oil. When using on babies 3 months+ use 1 drop in 3 teaspoons of carrier oil.

Diffuse 5 drops of oil for bursts of 20 mins each hour.

Gargle 2-3 times daily using 1 drop of frankincense oil and 1 drop of lemon oil in 50ml of cool boiled water and half a teaspoon of honey.
